The oldest surviving Irish harp can be seen in Trinity College, Dublin and is named after the 10th century Irish king 'Brian Boru'. Harpists were very highly respected in ancient Ireland. Intricate embossing and gilding adds a richness to this attractive memento. The notebook has 88 lined ivory pages.
