Piccalilli, or mustard pickle, is a British interpretation of South Asian pickles.
Established in 1868, Haywards is a staple pickle brand in the UK, found in fridges and pantries all over the isle. Their Piccalilli is a mixture of vegetables (cauliflower, onions, and gherkins) in a mustard sauce.
A fairly healthy option, it contains 39% vegetables (cauliflower, onions and gherkins), hardly any fat and only 1% salt.
Haywards Piccalilli is just the job for adding some flavour to a roast dinner, or spicing up a sandwich. The perfect accompaniment to a Scotch egg.
