The Scottish and Irish Store in cooperation with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and the Sens Foundation, had the official launch of the SENS Tartan, on December 17, 2008, at Scotiabank Place .

The SENS Tartan was created to provide a cultural connection between the Ottawa Senators and the  approximately 40% of the Ottawa area population that has a British and Irish heritage. In addition, a portion (fourteen percent) of every SENS tartan product sold will be donated to Rogers House, through the Sens Foundation.
